UPDATE: RTN Programs Broadcast Exclusively on KUSG-TV in Southern Utah

At present, KUSG-TV (St. George) is the only station in Utah broadcasting RTN programming. KUSG currently reaches approximately 66,000 homes in Southern Utah. KUSG can be seen in Washington, Iron, Beaver and Millard counties over the air via antenna on digital channel 12.1 and cable channel 20 in St. George. KUSG is also scheduled to air in Cedar City on cable channel 18 beginning February 20th. It is very likely we will be back on DISH sometime in mid-April, however it will probably be located on a new channel position yet to be determined. Additionally, we are negotiating to be added to the cable system in Mesquite, NV. KUSG-TV is owned and operated by Four Points Media Group.

As most of you know, there were three stations in Utah that had been simulcasting RTN programming...KCBU, KUBX and KUSG. Even though there are two separate owners involved, these three stations had been branded as "Utah's RTN."

On Saturday, January 3rd, RTN Network notified all three stations that RTN has changed ownership. Luken Communications now runs the day to day operations and the RTN network is in the process of moving their entire physical facility to a completely new location. You can reach RTN / Luken Communications at (800) 294-4800.

With these recent changes, KCBU and KUBX are NOT currently RTN affiliates. This effects viewers who have been receiving RTN programming on Dish 3, DirecTV 3, Comcast 106 and channel 58 (antenna). What you are now seeing is a completely different program line-up with no RTN content. Equity Media Holdings Corporation owns these two stations and the contracts that supply programming on KCBU and KUBX. You can reach Equity Media at 800-714-1444 to ask about their future programming plans. Be sure to mention the call letters of these two stations when making any inquiries. Four Points Media Group and KUSG-TV are not responsible for any programming currently being shown on these two stations.

By way of information, KUBX channel 58 is a low power station and by law is not required to change over to a digital signal. Again, KUBX channel 58 is owned by Equity Media Holdings. You will need to contact them directly for any questions you may have regarding this station.
